Founded by Jacques Merlaut in 1961, Groupe Taillan (210 million in sales, 350 employees) is active on every continent. Today, it is run by his son Denis Merlaut and his children, who represent the third generation involved in the group.

The Group is present in the main production areas: Bordeaux, the Loire Valley, the Rhône Valley, Languedoc-Roussillon and Provence. Our vineyards cover the major appellations: Saint Julien, Haut Médoc, Médoc, Bordeaux Supérieur, Côtes-de-Bourg, Côtes-de-Blaye, Cahors, Corbières, Minervois, Anjou, Costières-de-Nîmes. Thanks to their proximity to the great winegrowers and prestigious estates, our trading houses are able to source all the great wines of France and the rest of the world.

Thanks to high-performance bottling lines, our industrial facilities reach a production capacity of 45 million bottles per year.
